I'm so happy to be finally doing this post! I've wanted to start travel themed posts for my blog for a while now and what better way to start then an ultimate guide on my favourite place in the world, right!?
Orlando Florida, is an incredible place. Whether you're going alone, with family, friends, young children or your partner, you're guaranteed to have an amazing time. I have been almost every year of my life and I'm nearly 22, so I've been roughly around 19/20 times, which is a lot!
So here's a list of five places you have to visit when you go to Orlando. I hope you enjoy reading this post just as much as I've enjoyed writing it! And one more thing, all photos included are my own! ♥♥

1. Walt Disney World
Of course I had to make this number one! Walt Disney World consists of 4 main theme parks (Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Animal Kingdom & Hollywood Studios) and 2 water parks (Typhoon Lagoon & Blizzard Beach), as well as 29 different resort hotels or villa complexes to stay at. Disney World in Orlando is truly amazing, by far the best of all the Disney Resorts around the world. Disney is magical, no matter how old you are, if you're with family, friends or your partner, you have to go to Disney. Magic Kingdom is a great all rounder park. It has plenty of family friendly attractions whilst also having a great selection of faster rides too. I love Space Mountain & Splash Mountain, they're both so much fun! Whereas my parents love the Buzz Lightyear Space Ranger Spin (my mum always wins). I adore both water parks, they are such fun days out. My dad and I always go to one or the other, just be sure to go when its not planning on raining cause that's not fun! Disney have also recently opened Disney Springs (which used to be Downtown Disney), an outdoor shopping, dining and entertainment complex within the Disney resort. With over 50 places to eat including Planet Hollywood and The Rainforest Cafe, you're definitely not going to go hungry! The variety of shops is amazing, you'll find everything from The Lego Store to Pandora to The Coca Cola Store and of course the huge World Of Disney (literally the best and biggest disney store ever!). What else can I say? Its a wonderful place, everytime I go it makes me so happy.
Busch Gardens is a theme park that a lot of people forget to go to when they visit Orlando, mainly because its about an hour's drive away in Tampa, but well worth it if you ask me! This is the ultimate family adventure park! If you love the thrill of big roller coasters but you're also in the mood for some animal interactions or shows this is the park for you. There are six main coasters but my favourite ride here has to be Montu, an incredible roller coaster. Definitely check out Sultans Sweets, this cafe does the most amazing selection off freshly baked cakes, cookies and muffins. I can't go to Busch Gardens without getting a Chocolate Chip or Orange Muffin from there! If you love big rides, this is a must.
3. The Florida Mall
3. The Florida Mall
This is by far my favourite shopping destination in Orlando, with over 270 stores to choose from. You'll find a lot of the Malls there are outside, so its nice to find a place to shop that's indoors where its cool! They have an incredible newly refurbished food court with a great selection of places to eat. You'll find shops such as Macy's, Zara, Victorias Secret, Sephora, Disney Store, Carlos Bakery and M&M's World. There is also a Florida Mall Hotel, which is absolutely lovely, I had to stay there one time when my flight was severely delayed. It's the perfect place to visit on a rainy day or just to simply do some serious spending.
4. Universal Studios Resort
The Universal Resort consists of two neighbour theme parks, Universal Studios and Islands Of Adventure. There is also a water park called Volcano Bay in the making which will be opening sometime in 2017. Both parks have their share of thrill but Islands of Adventure I would say contains the majority of the bigger rides. From The Hulk Coaster to Spiderman 4D to The Jurrasic Park River Adventure, it's got it all. This park is also where you'll find the Wizarding World of Harry Potter, three magical rides and a range of shops and places to eat. Universal Studios is probably my favourite park of the two. I really love The Simpsons themed area, being the huge Simpsons fan that I am. The Simpsons Ride, Men In Black Alien Attack and The Despicable Me Minion Mayhem are just three of my personal favourite rides. If you're not sure on going to both, you can get a two park ticket and spend half the day at one and the other half at the other, that's what I tend to do. Once you're done at the parks you can walk around The Universal City Walk. This is full of amazing places to eat, tons of places to shop and lots of entertainment. There are also 5 lovely hotels on this resort.
5. The Orlando Eye
I had such high expectations for this and it definitely lived up to them. The Orlando Eye is situated with Sea Life and Madame Tussuad's in the International Drive area of Orlando. This is a fairly new complex as it was only built last year. The wheel gives incredible views of Walt Disney World, Universal Studios and even Kennedy Space Center. This is one to visit on a clear sunny day, I also went at sunset which was beautiful to see, but the views were obviously restricted with it getting dark. I wasn't as impressed with the wheels neighbour, the Sealife Center, definitely one of Sealifes smaller venues. The Orlando Eye makes for perfect day out.
I hope you enjoyed this post. Whats your favourite place to go on holiday? I'd love to know in the comments below! Thank you so much for reading, talk soon! xx
